our purpose
In 1975, my grandparents built their home with their own two hands—a labor of love that became the backdrop for nearly 50 years of cherished memories. It’s where they raised their children, welcomed grandchildren, and now host great-grandchildren. Growing up, we heard countless stories of their home-building journey—the why and how behind every detail—and saw firsthand the pride they took in their craftsmanship.
But their home is more than just a house. It’s a place of rest and refuge, filled with laughter, tears, and the warmth of family gatherings. Because they designed it with their unique needs in mind, it has served them well for decades. Even now, as I continue to celebrate holidays and milestones there, I am reminded of its lasting significance.
Not everyone has the opportunity to build their home from the ground up like my grandparents did—but that’s where we come in. At Ahrenholtz Custom Homes, we’re passionate about turning dreams into reality, handling the hard work so you can focus on what truly matters. With quality craftsmanship and dependable service, we don’t just build houses—we create homes that stand the test of time. Let’s build a place where your family’s memories will last for generations.
Proverbs 24:3-4 “By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”

“I love what I do because I help others establish their legacy by building them a home where memories are passed down from generation to generation.”
I grew up in Northwest Illinois, learning the value of hard work by assisting my dad with countless building projects. Though he was a pastor, he was also incredibly skilled with his hands. Together, we built three additions onto our home and even constructed his log church building from the ground up. Summers were spent working alongside him—remodeling homes, fixing cars, welding, landscaping, mowing lawns, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and more. Those experiences shaped my work ethic and deep appreciation for craftsmanship.
After high school, I stepped into full-time Christian ministry as a worship leader and later a youth pastor in Siloam Springs, AR. In 2007, I married my beautiful wife, Bri, in South Carolina, and a year later, we moved to Siloam Springs to be closer to her family after our first son was born.
By 2015, with four children in tow, I launched Ahrenholtz Home Improvement, LLC as a small handyman business. It thrived, growing rapidly to the point where I hired employees and expanded into larger projects. I earned my remodeler’s license, then my general contractor’s license, and soon began flipping run-down and condemned homes, remodeling bathrooms and kitchens, and taking on increasingly complex renovations. Then, in 2020, I built my first custom home. Two years later, we rebranded as Ahrenholtz Custom Homes, specializing in custom builds, whole-home remodels, large-scale additions, and more.
I love what I do because building a home is more than just construction—it’s about creating a place where memories are made and legacies are built. The spaces we live in become a part of our story, woven into the moments we cherish most. Being part of that journey for others is an incredible privilege.
When I’m not on a job site, you’ll find me spending time with Bri and our kids—hiking, camping, fishing, canoeing, rock climbing, mountain biking, and making memories of our own in the great outdoors.

“Luke is someone I have always really admired and looked up to. I was thrilled when he hired me as a project manager of ACH.”
I’ve lived my whole life here in North-west Arkansas. Growing up, I enjoyed working with my dad doing HVAC work when he would take on side jobs. After high school, I worked in several of the trades including HVAC, excavating with heavy equipment, and construction while attending John Brown University for construction management. I first met Luke while attending his youth group back before he started Ahrenholtz Custom Homes. Luke is someone I have always really admired and looked up to. I was thrilled when he hired me as a project manager of ACH in 2021.
Chloe, my lovely wife, and I got married in 2021 and now are now expecting a baby boy January, 2024! In my free time, I love spending time with my wife, hanging out with the guys, watching football, golfing, fishing and hunting.
